Parents
I am continually amazed how intention, occasional guidance, practice, and patience can nurture and heal a family’s struggles, including my own, time and time again; Patience with our children, as little beings trying to figure out this BIG world, and more importantly patience with ourselves as parents, as we often carry an insurmountable amount of obligations, expectations, and self-doubt…all along with an equal, if not greater, desire to raise strong, healthy children. My purpose and hope is to create a warm, open, and comfortable environment for children and their parents, in which each person feels safe, deeply seen and heard, and is ultimately inspired towards growth and healing.
Coaching
Come as you are. We will do the rest together. Coaching services are available to you whether or not you have a little one in play therapy. My hope is to remind you and validate that the parenting “struggle is real!” These precious beings come into our world and often challenge us in just the right ways to shine a blazing spotlight on our tender blind-spots: our insecurities, fears, childhood experiences and pain, and yes, our delicate nervous systems that can get rattled so many times throughout the day. Often times, they know us better than we know ourselves! As scary and earth-shattering as this might feel, there are tools and skills that I will provide and cater to your unique family that with practice and patience can bring about a much-needed, positive transformation for you and your family. Whether it’s constant daily power struggles, helping your child move through pain, loss, or trauma, navigating separation and divorce in the healthiest way possible, or differing parenting-styles between you and your co-parent, I will sit with you and together we will devise a plan that will provide you and your child with emotional safety, relief, and positive change. You are not alone.
